General Information

Tuscaloosa, Northport and Tuscaloosa County are excited to host the 2015 Tuscaloosa Regional Air Show! We look forward to hosting the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and several top-notch civilian performers for this premier community event that is fun for all!

Tuscaloosa is located along the banks of the Black Warrior River in West Central Alabama and is home to just under 100,000 residents, a thriving business community and the University of Alabama. The Tuscaloosa Metro area has a population of 182,000 people. The beautiful Riverfront and Downtown is in the midst of a public/private multi-million dollar reinvestment, which will build a community where we can live, work and play.

This vibrant community offers many opportunities whether you are looking for a place to locate or are on a family vacation. Whatever your interests are, please feel free to visit the Tuscaloosa Tourism and Sports Commission website for a list of local hotels, attractions and transportation information at www.visittuscaloosa.com. Lodging, attraction and transportation questions may also be answered by calling toll free 1-800-538-8696. Although famous for its gridiron action and the home of the original Dreamland Barbeque, you’ll see that it’s not all Tuscaloosa has to offer.
